Rover teams should have a good understanding of how to avoid obstacles. While the Ten80 Rover kit only has one ultrasonic sensor, the Rover can effectively avoid obstacles with serve controlled sonar.
Set-up a small obstacle course for your Rover with 3 obstacles. Can your Rover detect the obstacle, and then if it “sees it”, take a right turn and a left turn, and a right turn to simply drive around the obstacle. The obstacle can be a small box or other item with clearly defined outline for simplicity.
