Professional Development: Key to Advancing STEM Learning

Posted June 19, 2017 by Toni Cerbo

Ten80 Education provides face to face professional development sessions during the summer and throughout the year.

Success in STEM education comes down to good programs and great partnerships. Change the Equation has named Ten80’s programs both exemplary and scalable. Your partnership in the classroom, club and regional level is key to scaling the exemplary outcomes in student achievement that are possible through Ten80’s Student STEM Challenges curriculum, National STEM League and Ten80’s elementary programs.

At these Summer 2017 sessions, Ten80’s team will facilitate interaction between educators starting new programs, those experienced in running Ten80 programs and new regional partners at the Associate and Hub Organizer levels.

The day will begin with a general session, then depending on who is in attendance, breakout sessions will focus on implementing various aspects of the Student Racing Challenge, CompSci and Rover curriculum, including the integration of Enterprise and Innovation activities.
