Congratulations to the 2017-2018 Ten80 Points Race Winners!

The Ten80 Points Race Competition runs from September 1st until May. Racing and Rover teams compete by submitting their curriculum assignments for points. Most assignments are worth 100-200 points. A completed Data Driven Design technical report is worth up to 1000 points!

Assignments include engineering, computer science, enterprise and innovation lessons, as well as placement points earned for participating in Invitationals. This competition is a testament to your hard work, professionalism, and diligence to developing skills and knowledge in STEAM topics.

High School Racing Points Race

This year’s High School 2nd place winner is Flaming Wheel Motorsports, from Metro Home Educators, in Iowa, with 4415 pts!

The High School Points Race Grand Champion is The B.E.4.S.T. from Chicago State University NSBE, Chicago, Il, with an incredible 8507 pts beating out their own high score of 8063 pts from last year!

Middle School Racing Points Race

The Middle School 2nd place winner is Shen Horse Power, Shenandoah Middle School, Iowa! with 3749 points.

The Grand Champion for Middle School is Lone Star Motorsports, San Antonio NSBE, San Antonio, TX. with 4450 points, beating out their own high score of 3707 points (second place finish) from last year.

Rover Points Race

2nd Place for Rover Points Race goes to the The B.E.4.S.T. ROVER from Chicago State University NSBE, Chicago, Il, with 1970 pts!

The Rover Points 1st Place Winner is Zero Gravity Rover, UniTech Career Center, Bonne Terre, MO with 3305 points beating out their own 1st place finish of 2625 points from the previous year!

Season 2018-2019

Congratulations to all for a great year and see you again September 1st!  We are changing things up a bit for the next year. We will be assigning monthly challenges and points race assignments based on an annual theme! Coming soon! The Ten80 Engineering and Enterprise Theme 2018-2019!

Start your project planning and update your websites over the summer! Why wait? We have already started! We will be updating the Points Race points system, NSL Handbook, and our curriculum over the summer!

The Racing Challenge Curriculum will be available to all your students for the 2018-2019 season. Students will receive their own logins to the Moodle and can follow the curriculum through online click-thought lessons and assessments!
