SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY – Hermann and Ericka Kreimann have joined forces with Ten80 Education to expand STEAM education and competition offerings to students and schools around Southern California.

“Ten80 is thrilled with this new partnership. This is a win-win for both our organizations and especially for the students we both serve,” said Terri Stripling, President and CEO of Ten80 Education. “While providing opportunities in STEM education, this partnership will positively impact economic development while steering students towards a multitude of STEM careers.”

The Kreimanns are the owners and operators of the Engineering For Kids franchise in Upland, CA. This husband and wife team bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to help Ten80 cultivate local resources to support students and educators in the greater Los Angeles area. Ten80’s goal is to expand the number of students inspired to engage in STEM learning and to provide content and support to channel that inspiration into real academic and personal success. The Greater Los Angeles Ten80 Hub will be the center of activity for students and educators involved with Ten80 programs including the National STEM League (NSL) for grades 6-12, Driving STEM for Grades 3-5 and STEAMstart for grades K-2.

After graduating from Cal State LA, Hermann worked in the Oil and Gas Industry offshore for 7 years and Ericka has owned and sold two separate online businesses. They have taken their educational backgrounds in Chemical Engineering and Counseling, in addition to their experience coaching and managing youth football organizations, and paired that with STEAM education to help build fun Robotics leagues for K-8 students in Southern California. They both absolutely love the Ten80 Education suite of educational programs and feel that with the support Ten80 has shown they will be able to expand STEAM competition offerings to students and schools.

“Partnering with Ten80 is a fun experience and the Ten80 team has been open, receptive, and dedicated to working with our staff to help improve and expand our current league offerings at a pace that fits our company’s needs,” said Hermann Kreimann, owner of EBK and Company LLC. “They have shown an abundance of support and share the same passion for STEAM education that we have and we look forward to working with them for years to come.”

As the leading resource for the Ten80 Southern California Hub, Hermann and Ericka will facilitate and foster relationships between the Ten80 NSL and schools, businesses, educators, parents, and students. Through this partnership, the Kreimann team will help Ten80 provide new opportunities for students to participate in the NSL and aid educators in strengthening their skills to teach hands-on STEM and 21st Century skills in the classroom. The team will seek out industry mentors to support K-12 students, especially minority groups, girls, and students from low-income backgrounds.
