Ten80’s team organizes and operates three types of STEM events: STEM Innovators-in-Training Experiences for Students and Educators, Invitationals for competition teams and Professional Development for educators and mentors.
Ten80 organizes a STEM Innovators-in-Training tour with events held in 10 – 12 cities each year. Read about this 1-day version of the Innovators-in-Training Challenge, developed in collaboration with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), at the “STEM Tour”. Look for events in your area at the Calendar of Events.
Students that attend the Experience are invited to continue working on their ideas through the Student Innovators-in-Training Challenge that’s free to all event participants. Teams this Fall will earn $3,000 for exemplary submissions.
Schools that attend are sponsored to receive Student STEM Challenge curriculum, materials and training thanks to sponsorship from the U.S. Army.
Registered National STEM League teams collaborate and compete at open Invitationals hosted by Ten80’s team or by sanctioned local officials. Winners of these Sanctioned Invitationals earn a place next to web-based points race winners at the annual National STEM League Finals.
