Understanding Sustainability

What does it take to build a future that lasts?

This sustainability program challenges students to think like planners and problem-solvers, using the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals as a real-world framework for change.

In I Can Plan-It, teams design future cities that balance people, planet, and prosperity — tackling the same trade-offs real urban planners face.

In Every Drop Counts, students investigate water issues, from access and conservation to the systems that keep communities running.

Each project gives students hands-on practice applying global goals to local solutions, while building the critical thinking and design skills at the heart of sustainable innovation.
